“I carried Amapiano,” says upcoming artist Blue Avia

Blue Avia claims she is one of the biggest promoters of the famous South African genre, Amapiano.

Speaking on a podcast recently, the season 1 BBTitans housemate said she carried the genre, and that people think about her whenever they listen to Amapiano songs.

“When they listen to Amapiano they think about me – they’ll never say it but I know,” she said.

A snippet of the podcast surfaced on social media, but it sparked questions about her identity as people couldn’t recognise she was a former housemate of BBTitans.
