President Cyril Ramaphosa was snubbed by the New Zealand Rugby players while attempting to shake their hands.
On Saturday, the South African rugby players, Springboks beat the All Blacks at the World Cup final.
The president was at the final to support the Springboks, however, he was snubbed at the end of the match by the All Blacks players.
Video revealing how the players ghosted Cyril’s handshake has gone viral on social media and it’s garnered various reactions, with some persons calling out All Blacks for being racists.
“This is highly disrespectful and racist. Best believe, if the opposing team NZs president experienced this from the South African team, hell would have broken loose by now. We would be condemned by the RWC organization, and international media and have 100 investigations launched,” a tweep wrote in reaction to the video.
success you amass in your life and how many tables have your seat reserved, there is always someone out there who sees colour.
Whether they’re economically or by societal hierarchy below you, it is in their hegemonic genetic makeup to see you as beneath them because you’re black
