Khosi Twala speaks out about receiving her US$100,000 (R1.8m) cash prize after winning the Big Brother Titans reality show in 2023.

The star set the record straight as some former contestants Blessing “Nana” Basheru, Justin Peters and BBNaija winner Phyna claimed that the organisers are yet to pay them their prizes.

“I’m gonna mention some brand names by tomorrow because they need to pay up haba 1 year after the show and you guys haven’t paid, is it fair?” Nana wrote.

“Imagine sponsoring new shows when you still owe people money. Scammers will stay scamming,” Justin wrote.

Khosi replied her concerned fans by sharing a screenshot of the payment into her bank account.

“When I woke up this morning I saw there was a back and forth about having received my money and all of that. When I didn’t receive my money I was very outspoken about it, so I think it’s also fair that I make it clear.”

“I did receive my money. I received it two months after the show, which according to the contract is just within time,” she told TshisaLIVE.

“When you sign a contract to go into the house, they specify that you get your money one to three months after the show, so it was well within the time frame that I had signed for. Those who say they have not received their money I am not sure about, but I certainly received mine almost a year ago.”
