Lungy Gwala dies at 26
KwaZulu-Natal musician and dancer, Lungy Gwala has passed away.
The family released a statement confirming she died on the evening of 25 June 2024.
“In this time of grief, we appeal for your compassion, space and the time to congregate as a family to decide on the upcoming days.”
The cause of death is yet to be announced, but the funeral details has been announced.
“We are still dealing with the news, we will share what happened to Lungy, we are just not okay as yet,” a friend and musician told ZiMoja.
“We will miss her so much for her high energy, kindness, and crazy personality. Lungy was born to be a star.”
Lungy has worked with the likes of Jobe London, DJ Tira, and a few other music stars.
