Mac G, real name Macgyver Mukwevho tops Twitter, now X trend list following the release of lists of people that benefited from the ANC government over the past months through the Department of Sports, Arts, and Culture.
The new minister Gayton fulfilled his promise as she revealed the names which included the famous Podcast and Chill host, Mac G.
South Africans were shocked to see the name of the presenter on the list as he is known to be a person who doesn’t condone favouritism, and injustice. He’s also known to be the voice of truth, hence it was expected that he would have revealed long ago that he was paid by the department.
The list said that Mac G received a huge sum of R75,000 from the department.
Social media users, including DJ Sbu expressed their thoughts about Mac’s payment and teased him about it.
