Penny Lebyane resigns from Radio 2000
Penny Lebyane has resigned from Radio 2000.
The presenter hosted Sunday’s 3-6pm slot on the SABC station, discussing all things lifestyle, spirituality and wellness.
She didn’t give an official announcement about her exit from the radio station, but an insider disclosed to Zimoja after her absence was noticed.
“She did not go into detail in her letter, but it was with immediate effect,’ the source said. “As you know, Penny doesn’t really stand for anything that goes out of her high values. She is an amazing presenter and person,and she didn’t want to get into the reasons behind why she had to leave so abruptly,’ added the source.
“She’s dealing with some personal issues and she needs time off. There is a lot happening in her life, and this is just one,’ a colleague said.
