South Africans are not relenting over their demand to have Chidinma Vanessa Adetshina disqualified from the Miss South Africa pageant 2024.
Months after cyberbullying the Vanessa who is of a Nigerian and South African root, a petition to remove the beauty queen has begun.
Over three thousand South Africans have signed the petition which has sparked controversy on social media.
“Thats a good moves… but sign without portraying her as illegal immigrant.. cos your government gave her parents permission to stay, so she’s not… but your moves to oppose her is very good… I’ve not seen any SA representing Nigeria, why would a Nigeria named woman represent SA??” a tweep reacted.
“Xenophobia in broad daylight, y’all will go to foreign countries and scream racism, clowns all of you,” another user wrote.
