Joe Budden drags Tyla
American media personality Joe Budden goes hard against South African star Tyla.
On a recent episode of his podcast, the broadcaster said the singer is annoying and perceived her personality to be hideous.
“Hey, I don’t think I like TYLA’s personality. I think someone needs to check her ’cause she doesn’t understand American culture AT ALL.
“She almost gives off entitled or uppity African vibes. I don’t know how to explain it, but it’s very off-putting, and it’s almost like she expects people to just fall at her feet,” he said.
Joe didn’t stop at that, as he recounted what happened between the Grammy-award-winning star and Usher at a recent concert.
Video clips of the incident went viral on social media and garnered lots of reactions, with a majority applauding Tyla for ensuring Usher didn’t grind on her.

“When Usher attempted to do his showmanship dance while her record was playing in front of 20,000 people, she ducked him,” he said.
South Africans and fans of the South African super star have taken to various platforms to slam Joe, while defending the 22-year-old.
“She is African why must she act American, leave our girl and let her be true to herself,” an Instagram user commented.
“Maybe she didn’t want her dad to see that. This is so weird!!!!!!” actress Pearl Thusi wrote.
