Jub Jub’s exit from Uyajola 9/9 breaks heart

Jub Jub gives up his boss position as he reportedly retires from the famous TV show, Uyajola 9/9.

The South African musician has captured lots of Mzansi’s hearts through the show as he puts an end to boring Sundays through the exciting show.

According to Entertainment commentator Phil Mphela, Jub Jub resigned this week, and the Moja Love CEO Aubrey Tau accepted his resignation with open arms.

Phil said, what’s interesting is that in the resignation correspondence between Jub Jub and the CEO of the channel, it has been revealed that the company paid around R1-million of the presenter’s legal fees during his bout with the law.

Further exposed is that Moja Love paid Jub Jub a monthly salary of R180 000, not the R500K previously claimed in the media. Caveat: While the language in the emails suggests this is an uncongenial separation between the two entities, it is important to remember that we have been here before. Remember in 2023, Jub Jub was “fired” and “sued” Moja Love. He returned.
