SA actor Roderick Jaftha needs financial help

Former Generations actor Roderick Jaftha is struggling to survive and needs help from South Africans.

The actor said he is unable to pay R2500 rent for where he stays with his wife and children; he is also unable to provide food for them.

“I don’t even have food for my kids today, so I’m trying to run around.”

Jaftha who was known as Glen Majozi on the aforementioned soapie said his family’s finances took a nosedive after his wife lost her job.

“I am struggling to pay rent. I have small kids, and two of them are still at school.”

“Since I only speak Afrikaans and English, it is hard for me to get those roles. I have been getting gigs, but nothing significant,” he said.

Masingita Masunga helped the actor by posting about his situation on Facebook, and solicited for help.

“I’m experiencing that pain right now. It’s even worse for the kids,” Roderick wrote in the comment.

Meanwhile, weeks ago, actress Gcina Mkhize expressed profound gratitude to people after they donated over R20,000 to her after she was evicted from her house.
