Nota granted bail
Nhlamulo Baloyi, famously known as Nota has been released from jail on bail.
The Randburg Magistrates Court in Joburg granted the music executive bail of R5 000 on Monday, October 7.
Nota turned himself in at the Randburg Police Station on Friday, 4 October after being charged with the rape of actress and actress Itumeleng Bokaba.
Nota excitedly announced on Twitter that he is back home after spending days behind bars.
The court case has been postponed to Thursday, 7 November for the verification of WhatsApp chats between Nota and the complainant.
“It was an emotional weekend for me, from the moment my father brought me to Randburg Police Station. We knew I probably had to spend the weekend,” Nota said after being granted bail.
