Chris Brown not wanted in South Africa over abuse record

Chris Brown has been called out by a South African organisation after selling out FNB Stadium in 2 hours.

The Women For Change organisation started a petition against the American singer due to his record of being an abuser.

WFC is a non-profit organisation established in 2016 that advocates for the constitutional rights of women and children in South Africa. WFC educates, advocates, and campaigns on Gender-Based Violence & Femicide (GBVF), Human Rights, and Gender Equality daily.

Taking to Twitter, the organisation urged people to sign the petition, so the musician doesn’t come to South Africa.

Women For Change calls on concert organisers @BigConcerts, promoters, and the South African government @HomeAffairsSA @Leon_Schreib to reconsider the decision to allow Chris Brown to perform in Johannesburg on 14 December 2024,” reads the tweet.

As of today, Tuesday, over 15,000 South Africans have signed the petition.
