Priddy Ugly takes home long-awaited win at 2024 SAMAs
The rapper claimed the Best Hip Hop Album award for his album Dust at the prestigious event on Saturday night.
Taking to social media, he wrote, “From the SOIL that we came, In the MUD we remain, Where we played & the grave, all the DUST is the same. SOUTH AFRICAN MUSIC AWARD – WINNER. An overnight success that’s 17 years in the making.”
Fans and friends celebrated the victory across social media.
Moozlie expressed her excitement, tweeting, “God really did his big one with @priddy_ugly, it’s so wild.”
One fan commented, “I knew it from day one that it was coming to him. Well deserved.”
