Lerato Kganyago longs to be a mother
Lerato Kganyago has once again shared her painful journey with fertility struggles.
The DJ, radio host, and former model has previously spoken about suffering five miscarriages, but despite the heartbreak, she remains hopeful.
On the evening of February 3, Lerato took to social media to express her deep longing for motherhood, particularly for her mother’s sake.
“Can I borrow an infant for a week? Will bring it back,” she wrote, before quickly deleting the posts. She also shared that her mother, who had retired in August, decided to return to work, adding, “I am my mom’s only child. I wanted her to relax and travel… She just needs a little human to keep her busy.”
Lerato later revealed the devastating loss of her fifth baby, posting an image of a sonogram. “On the 12th, my incredible gynae broke the news. I’m much better than last week… My parents have carried me!” she wrote.
This isn’t the first time the Metro FM DJ has been candid about her struggles. Reflecting on a previous loss, she shared, “I was three months pregnant, but unfortunately, I lost my baba… I was looking forward to this pregnancy; I thought this time I had made it through.”
