Inno Morolong speaks on her journey as a single mother

Inno Morolong opens up about her journey as a single mother.

Inno reflected on the highs and lows of raising her 11-year-old daughter alone. Despite the struggles, she finds purpose in the love they share.

“Being a single mom is the hardest and most beautiful thing I’ve ever done,” she admitted.

“There are days when I feel like the weight of the world is on my shoulders, but then I see my daughter’s smile, hear her laugh, and it reminds me that I’m doing something truly meaningful. Every tear, every sleepless night, every sacrifice — it’s all for her.”

This heartfelt confession comes at a pivotal time for Inno, who recently faced legal troubles.

In January, she was sentenced to 12 months of house arrest after being found guilty of crimen injuria and defamation in a dispute with actress and social media influencer Tebogo Thobejane.

While her circumstances have placed certain restrictions on her life, she remains grateful for the ability to be present in her daughter’s life and serve as a positive role model.

As her daughter embarks on a new chapter at a different school, Inno sees this as more than just a milestone for her child—it’s a reflection of her own perseverance.

“There were times when I doubted myself, but being a mom teaches you strength you didn’t know you had. You learn to push forward, even when it feels impossible, because someone else’s world depends on you.

“Watching her walk confidently into this new chapter has been such a profound moment for me. It’s a reminder that no matter how tough things get, the love we pour into our children comes back tenfold in the form of their happiness and success.”

Determined to use her experiences as motivation, Inno hopes her story inspires other single mothers to embrace their journey with pride and courage.

“To every single mom out there, I want you to know that you are enough. You are doing something extraordinary, even when it doesn’t feel like it. Our children don’t need perfection — they need our love, and that’s something we all have to give.”
