Amanda Black denies rumors linking her to Sjava rape allegations

South African singer Amanda Black has set the record straight after being linked to allegations of sexual assault against Sjava.

The award-winning musician became a trending topic after a resurfaced tweet, allegedly from an account bearing her name, claimed that Sjava had raped her.

The speculation quickly spread, fueling discussions on social media.

However, Amanda has stepped forward to deny any involvement in the allegations.

Taking to social media, she firmly dismissed the claims, stating:

“Hi everyone, Sjava did not sexually assault me. I have no idea where these rumors came from, but they are not true and did not come from me,” she wrote.

Her response was met with appreciation from fans, as many had started believing the claims, especially given Sjava’s past legal battle with singer Lady Zamar, who had previously accused him of rape.

Although the case was later dismissed, it had a lasting impact on both their careers.

As of now, Sjava, whose real name is Jabulani Hadebe, has not addressed the latest controversy.
