Tyla shines in H&M new collection
Tyla is bringing her signature style and star power to the fashion world as the face of H&M’s highly anticipated Spring/Summer 2025 collection.
The Grammy-winning singer, known for her trendsetting influence, perfectly embodies the collection’s vision of modern femininity infused with nostalgic charm and contemporary edge.
The collection will be released in two chapters, each offering a distinct perspective while complementing the other.
It is a tribute to the ever-evolving nature of femininity, seamlessly blending elements of past and present. The first chapter sets a dreamy, ethereal tone with festival-ready ensembles and city-chic aesthetics, drawing inspiration from legendary fashion icons.
Flowing blouses reminiscent of glam rock legends, and the fluid and androgynous silhouettes of the New Romantic era, create a striking yet effortless appeal.
“This season, we were inspired by different stages and moments of women’s lives and the richness of femininity.
We wanted to offer exceptional pieces that bring energy and light. A sense of escape felt very relevant: we wanted to play with a beautiful bohemia, rock icons and festival freedom,” said Eliana Masgalos, Design Director at H&M.
With a nostalgic yet modern mood, the collection reimagines heirloom-style pieces through an urban, refined lens. The fusion of 70s rock ‘n’ roll aesthetics, 90s minimalism, and contemporary styling results in an effortlessly cool wardrobe. Sheer voluminous blouses, lace-up tunics, and intricately crocheted dresses highlight the craftsmanship behind the designs. Mini-skirts with braiding details, pleated ruffle skirts, and studded blazers add structured contrast to the collection’s fluidity.
Accessories complete the bohemian-rock vibe, with slouchy shoulder bags, lace-up seam details, and statement snake-print slippers.
Festival-ready biker boots, waist-belts, and antique-style jewelry featuring chunky bangles, tassel earrings, and elegant cuffs enhance the collection’s vintage-meets-modern aesthetic. Pilot-style sunglasses round off the effortlessly chic look.
Marking the arrival of the new season with a celebration of freedom, vitality, and expression, H&M will host a festival in Los Angeles on April 9.
The event will bring together fashion and music in a spectacular homage to the city’s cinematic and cultural vibrancy.
