Described by Anele as her personality twin, Neonontso holds the honoured title of Maid of Honour. She’s the friend who always has everything under control before anyone else even notices there’s an issue. Anele praised her nurturing spirit, calling her “the literal extension of me.”
2. Cindy Poluta
Cindy is not only Anele’s colleague but a longtime friend whose journey with Anele began with a DM over a decade ago. From that message bloomed a solid professional and personal relationship, now in its 8th year of co-hosting what Anele calls “the best breakfast show in SA.” Anele cherishes her as an embodiment of loyalty, humor, and admirable parenting.
3. Daisy (Makoniboyzmum)
Better known as MamaRiro, Daisy came into Anele’s life through their children’s friendship. Anele describes her as loving and fiercely loyal, someone who goes to war for her friends. She’s not only Anele’s go-to for wine knowledge but also a real-life example of a strong and grounded marriage.
4. Mrs Nodada
With deep familial ties—their mothers were best friends—Mrs Nodada is someone Anele has witnessed grow profoundly over the years. They’ve travelled the world together, and now, the next destination is Anele’s marriage.
5. Ezile & Pilani Bubu
Friends since the year 2000, this duo has been part of many milestones in Anele’s life. Both gifted vocalists, they’ve serenaded her through countless celebrations. Anele sees Ezile as a living angel whose journey of self-improvement inspires, while Pilani’s creativity and authenticity constantly reaffirm Anele’s confidence and purpose.
6. Rose Mungofa
With a 17-year friendship, Rose holds a special place in Anele’s heart. Their bond, marked by fairness, open communication, and unwavering support, has never known conflict. Anele admires Rose as a phenomenal mother, a dedicated wife, and a true partner in life’s journey.
