Footballer Toluwalase denies dating Mihlali Ndamase
Dubai-based Nigerian footballer Toluwalase Arokodare has firmly denied claims that he’s romantically involved with South African YouTuber and beauty influencer Mihlali Ndamase.
The 24-year-old took to social media to clear the air after online chatter intensified over the alleged relationship, sparked by a series of social media interactions between the pair.
Much of the speculation began when Mihlali posted about Arokodare back in March, congratulating him with the phrase, “Congratulations, my love,” which many interpreted as more than just friendly support.
The situation escalated further when fans noticed that Mihlali’s mother had followed the footballer on Instagram, something social media users pointed out as a pattern.
A user commented: “One thing about Mihlali’s mom? She will follow her daughter’s boyfriend. Such a supportive mom.”
Despite the swirling rumours, Arokodare made it clear he’s not in a relationship.
Responding to the buzz on his Instagram stories, he said: “Y’all are killing me with these posts. Lmao 🤣. I’m single, y’all please stop abeg 🤣 These posts about me are false.”
Still, not everyone is convinced.
Fans have pointed out that Arokodare also follows both Mihlali and her mom on social media, further fuelling speculation.
“He even follows Mihlali & her mom 😭😭😭,” one user noted on the South African blog Maphephandaba’s post, while another added, “That time Mihlali even posted him and said ‘congratulations my love’ not so long ago lol… ay man.”
