The move came in response to public outrage over controversial comments made by the podcast’s host, Mac G, about media personality Minnie Dlamini.
One fan’s reaction went viral after they shared proof of their cancellation online, stating, “As a chiller, I hereby confirm that I have disconnected @DStv.”
The bold statement even caught the attention of co-host Sol Phenduka, who simply responded, “Damn,” revealing his surprise at the growing boycott.

The fan-led protest quickly gained traction, as more supporters, known as “chillers” posted screenshots of their cancelled DStv accounts across social media.
