Gogo Skhotheni dragged for scamming customer

Gogo Skhotheni has once again landed in hot water, this time over claims that she failed to deliver a traditional charm worth R50,000, sparking accusations of fraud.

Despite her recent public shift from spiritual healer to Christian preacher, it appears her past is catching up with her.

A disgruntled customer is now demanding a full refund after allegedly paying the hefty sum for Isigubhu Semali, a charm believed to bring wealth, but receiving nothing in return.

The demand was highlighted in a post by controversial blogger Musa Khawula, who shared details of the complaint on 24 May 2025.

“A customer demands a refund of R50,000 from Gogo Skhotheni. This comes after the desperate customer ordered and paid for Isigubhu Semali and Gogo Skhotheni has failed to honour her end of the deal and is now refusing to refund the customer,” the post read.

Social media users were quick to react, with many questioning both the legitimacy of the charm and the customer’s decision to part with such a large amount of money.

Others took aim at Skhotheni, accusing her of exploiting vulnerable people for financial gain, despite her recent spiritual transformation.
