Lady Amar buys new smile
Lady Amar, the award-winning DJ and sister to actress Ntando Duma, is turning heads on social media after debuting her brand-new smile.
The Hamba Juba hitmaker, who recently turned 32, shared images of her cosmetic dental work, done in Turkey, that quickly went viral.
The buzz began when controversial blogger Musa Khawula posted a photo of the DJ smiling widely, captioned: “Ntando Duma’s sister Lady Amar shows off her teeth she purchased in Turkey.”
The image, reportedly taken at the Lekompo Balcony Mix 6 event in Limpopo, had social media users split in their reactions.
Some praised Lady Amar, whose real name is Thando Duma, for the natural-looking outcome of the procedure.
Others, however, took the opportunity to poke fun or express skepticism, in a trend that seems to be growing around celebrity cosmetic enhancements.
