Lady Zamar urges the public to avoid doing business with people not affiliated with her
Lady Zamar has officially broken her silence to set the record straight regarding her management and representation, making it clear that only one person is authorized to speak or act on her behalf.
In a public statement released on 5 June 2025, the Collide hitmaker confirmed that Mr. Mthokozisi Ngwenya of Golden Child Records is her sole business manager.
According to the statement, any professional dealings, bookings, or negotiations relating to Lady Zamar must go through him or her, officially contracted partners, including Virgin Music Group, and her vetted PR teams.
“No one outside of these structures should be considered part of her team,” the statement reads.
It further emphasizes that any person or organization claiming affiliation with the artist without a current, signed agreement should not be trusted.
To avoid being misled, Lady Zamar urges anyone in doubt to request proof of communication dated May 2025 or later.
The announcement comes amid growing concerns over false claims made by individuals who allegedly misrepresented themselves as part of her team.
While some of these people may have had previous working relationships with the star, all such ties have since been terminated.
“To be clear: No person, group, or entity outside of current written contractual associates, publisher, and business manager Mr. Ngwenya is authorized to speak or negotiate on behalf of Lady Zamar in any official capacity,” the statement concludes.
Lady Zamar says the move is not just about protecting her name, but also about ensuring integrity and transparency in all current and future business dealings.
With this statement, she draws a firm boundary, and sends a clear message to the industry: Only the official team speaks for her.
