Sdumo excited ahead of ‘Marked’ release
Actor Sdumo Mtshali is taking a moment to reflect on how far he’s come in his career as anticipation builds for Netflix’s upcoming South African thriller Marked.
The award-winning actor, known for his powerful roles on screen and his quiet strength off-camera, shared a heartfelt Instagram post, ahead of the film’s global premiere later this month.
In his post, Sdumo didn’t just drop the trailer for Marked, he also opened up about the gratitude he feels in this moment of his journey.
“Lord, thank you that you’re working everything out for my good. Even when I don’t understand, I choose to trust your heart. Align my steps with your purpose and remind me that I am never forgotten. In Jesus Christ’s name, Amen,” he wrote.
The Netflix feature, set to drop on 31 July 2025, boasts a star-studded local cast including Lerato Mvelase, Bonko Khoza, and Sphamandla Dhludhlu.
It’s already creating a buzz online, with fans flooding social media in support of the cast, especially Sdumo, whose humility and consistency continue to earn him love from across Mzansi.
