Jojo Robinson’s husband undergoes cosmetic surgery
Reality TV star Jojo Robinson is catching heat online after revealing her husband, Calven, affectionately known as Boo Bear, recently underwent eyelid surgery.
The former kickboxing champion had the procedure, medically known as Blepharoplasty, to correct drooping eyelids that were reportedly affecting his vision and causing physical discomfort.
Jojo took to Instagram to share before and after images of Calven a week into his recovery, showing a noticeable difference in his appearance.
She explained the reason behind the surgery, saying, “Before, you couldn’t even see Boo Bear’s lashes. They actually went into his eyes, scratching and hurting him.”
Despite the medical reasoning, social media users were quick to suggest Jojo may have influenced her husband’s decision, citing her known history with cosmetic enhancements.
One user posted side-by-side photos of Calven’s transformation, prompting a wave of criticism.
“Jojo’s insecurities are rubbing off on him because what was wrong with his face?” wrote one commenter.
Another added, “Jojo is putting this poor man through it.”
In response to the criticism, Calven seemed content with the results, noting, “I can’t believe how much more I can see now. It’s like the picture frame suddenly got bigger.”
Still, many aren’t convinced the surgery was necessary.
One concerned fan said, “Boo Bear had heart issues just not so long ago, and now he’s being put through these surgeries because of HER insecurities.”
While this isn’t Calven’s first cosmetic procedure, reports claim he had face tightening done in 2023, but the backlash has focused largely on Jojo, who is two decades younger and reportedly undergone at least 20 aesthetic procedures.
