Leaked DMs land Emtee in hot water over alleged affairs
Rapper Emtee is once again at the centre of controversy after a series of private Instagram messages between him and multiple women were leaked online
The screenshots, which surfaced on his own Instagram Stories contained flirtatious and intimate exchanges, with social media users speculating that his wife, Chinsamy herself may have been behind the exposé.
Some have also turned their criticism toward the women allegedly involved.
One of the women, an influencer known as @Sugababiie_, was quick to address the rumours, insisting her relationship with the Roll Up hitmaker was more than a fling.
“It was not an affair. I needed 25k but decided to ask 7k instead, so I can look good while he parades me at his events. Mans said he was single, even posted those screenshots for clarification, bought me an ‘I love you’ PS,” she claimed.
She further alleged that Emtee was struggling behind the scenes: “We’ve been good to each other, I hope his true friends check up on him ’coz he’s not fine and surrounded by users. #FREEHIM… he really needs to be saved, and I was willing to.”
Another leaked conversation linked Emtee to former Big Brother Mzansi contestant Mshini Lekwadu, in which he reportedly asked to visit her.
Lekwadu later issued a statement clarifying the nature of their interactions.
“Over time, we had brief interactions via DM, and in his last message, he asked when he could visit and where I stayed. I responded with my address under the impression that our conversation was strictly business-related and in line with my support for his music.”
