Ntando Duma reacts to surrogacy rumors after the arrival of her baby
Actress Ntando Duma has finally broken her silence on speculation that she turned to surrogacy after surprising fans with the arrival of her baby.
The Shaka iLembe star and her husband, musician Una Rams, kept their pregnancy under wraps and only revealed their new bundle of joy after the birth.
While the announcement drew warm congratulations, it also sparked whispers that Ntando had chosen a surrogate, since she was never spotted with a visible baby bump.
Speaking to L-Tido in an interview on 20 August, Ntando dismissed the talk as baseless.
“Because you didn’t see me pregnant then it’s not my child? Like, what do you mean?” she said, making it clear that her baby is biologically hers.
Her pregnancy was one of the best-kept secrets in local entertainment, with even her baby shower held away from the public eye.
This isn’t the first time Ntando has managed to shield her private life from social media.
In 2024, she revealed that she had secretly tied the knot with Una Rams after months of speculation about their romance, confirming their love story only when they walked down the aisle.
