Nota reveals turning down a radio gig
Controversial music executive and podcaster Nota Baloyi stirred up a storm on social media after hinting that he was approached for a radio presenting job.
His revelation came just hours after Kaya FM confirmed that Sol Phenduka had been suspended pending the outcome of an internal process.
Taking to X, Nota revealed that a station had contacted him about a possible gig, but he wasn’t interested in simply being a presenter.
“Got offered a radio gig today. I don’t want it, though; I just want the equity. Need to ask my mother what she advises so I can do the opposite after running past my dad!” he wrote.
When a follower directly asked if the opportunity was to replace Phenduka at Kaya FM, Nota shut down the speculation with a firm, “No.”
The claim sparked conversation online, with some users suggesting he might have been courted by a recently launched station backed by veteran broadcasters.
Nota, however, neither confirmed nor denied the chatter, leaving fans guessing about which station made the approach.
