Nota says he’s been off alcoholic drinks for 15 years
Controversial South African music executive Nota Baloyi has taken to social media to celebrate a personal milestone that left many talking.
On Tuesday, 26 August 2025, the outspoken star revealed that he has officially been sober for 15 years.
Sharing the update on his X (formerly Twitter) page, the 35-year-old wrote: “It’s 15 years and a day since I stopped drinking.”
While some netizens applauded him for maintaining discipline and avoiding alcohol for over a decade, others remained doubtful about his claim, questioning whether he has truly stayed sober all these years.
Despite the scepticism, many fans praised Nota for highlighting an achievement worth celebrating.
