“Grateful for life” – Celeste Ntuli survives near-fatal car crash
South African comedian and actress Celeste Ntuli is thankful to be alive after being involved in a serious car accident while on her way to a show in Secunda, Gauteng.
The Isibaya star, who recently won the Best Comedian Award, took to social media to share details of the terrifying experience.
Posting pictures of the wrecked vehicle on Facebook, she captioned the post, “Grateful for life! Happy Saturday, everyone. @jaecoosouthafrica, thank you, the car saved my life. 👑❤️💫🙏🏿🇿🇦🌍👑. Live, love, laugh, light, and land.”
In a follow-up video, Ntuli described the crash as a “proper near-death experience”, revealing that the incident occurred on Friday, 26 September 2025.
She explained that the vehicle involved was a sponsored car still undergoing assessment after the accident, adding, “There are so many issues with that because it’s a sponsored car… but I’m just thankful for it because it saved my life.”
Fans and fellow entertainers flooded her comment section with messages of relief and love, celebrating her recovery and expressing gratitude that she made it out unharmed.
