Black Coffee buys a mansion in Cape Town

Grammy-winning DJ and producer Nkosinathi “Black Coffee” Maphumulo has once again made headlines, this time for acquiring one of South Africa’s most luxurious homes.

The internationally acclaimed artist recently purchased a R157 million mansion in Cape Town’s prestigious Clifton neighborhood, according to News24.

The property, famously known as The Pentagon, is located on 5 Nettleton Road, a street often dubbed the most expensive in the country.

The sale, which was completed through Black Coffee’s company, Little Ark Holdings, is now officially the highest residential property deal recorded in South Africa this year.

The mansion, originally listed at R160 million, was secured for R157 million.

Designed by celebrated architect Stefan Antoni, the 940-square-meter architectural masterpiece offers breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean.

The home features five en-suite bedrooms, a private cinema, a fully equipped gym, and a 16-meter heated infinity pool that blends seamlessly with the ocean horizon.

It also includes a glass elevator, staff quarters, and several parking bays, all combining modern luxury with world-class design.

The purchase comes shortly after Black Coffee finalized his divorce from actress Enhle Mbali, sparking conversations online about the timing of his major investment.
