Lamiez Holworthy celebrates Glamour Women of the Year win
Lamiez Holworthy is beaming with gratitude after being honoured at the Glamour South Africa Women of the Year Awards, a recognition she says comes at a defining moment in her life and career.
The award-winning DJ and media personality shared an emotional video on Instagram, accompanied by a heartfelt caption reflecting on her 15-year journey in the entertainment industry.
“God did a thing,” she wrote, expressing how music transformed not only her life, but also the lives of her loved ones.
“Fifteen whole years since I was led to this path… fifteen since God promised that He’d change not only my life but that of my loved ones. Fifteen since MUSIC changed my life and I won a Glamour SA Women of the Year Award last night.”
Lamiez also opened up about facing a difficult period recently, revealing that the past few weeks had been tough.
Despite the challenges, she said the award served as a reminder of her blessings and the support she receives from her ancestors.
