Tyla’s ‘Chanel’ crosses 100,000 U.S. sales

Tyla’s worldwide momentum is showing no signs of slowing down.
The South African hitmaker has scored another major milestone as her latest single, CHANEL, reportedly surpassed 100,000 units sold in the United States within just its first month.
The track, released on 24 October 2025 under FAX/Epic Records, has quickly become a fan favourite.
Blending crisp, addictive melodies with Tyla’s signature confidence, CHANEL marks a new chapter in her evolving sound and continues the winning streak that has followed her from Water to Push 2 Start.
A major driver behind the song’s rapid rise is its viral footprint.
A dance challenge inspired by the song has taken over social media, drawing millions of views and introducing the track to a wider global audience.
The viral push translated into serious numbers in its first U.S. tracking week (Oct. 24–30), when CHANEL earned more than 2.1 million official streams and digital sales, enough to debut at No. 1 on the Billboard U.S. Afrobeats Songs chart.
This achievement gives Tyla her third chart-topper in America in the Afrobeats category.
Streaming platforms are also reflecting the growing demand.
Since release, CHANEL has surged past 30 million Spotify plays, outpacing some of her earlier hits and becoming her fastest-climbing single to date.
