With the Lekompo star behind bars for the festive season, an online user shared a video showing the rapper’s lookalike taking the stage and performing some of Shebeshxt’s hit songs.

The clip, posted by @AyandaYandiey on X on 18 December 2025, quickly gained traction, amassing over 340K views, 3K likes, and more than 140 comments as fans and curious onlookers reacted to the surprising substitution.

The timing was notable, coming just after news broke that Shebeshxt’s bail application had been denied, meaning he would spend the holidays in prison.

Netizens were quick to share their thoughts on the phenomenon.

One user, @LoverOAGS, wrote, “Lol, an opportunist of the highest note. Shebe will deal with him when he comes out.”
