Emtee Records parts ways with Zae
Emtee Records has officially confirmed that rapper Zae is no longer part of the label.
The announcement was made in a statement released on Wednesday, where the label clarified its position regarding the artist’s status.
“Zae is no longer signed to, affiliated with, or associated with Emtee or Emtee Records in any capacity,” the statement read.
The development comes just months after Zae was introduced as the “first lady” of the independent label, a move that had generated buzz among fans.
In February 2026, she collaborated with Emtee on the single “Manje,” which marked one of her notable releases under the imprint.
At the time, her addition to the label signaled a new chapter for Emtee Records, with many anticipating more music and growth from the partnership.
However, the latest statement confirms that the working relationship has now come to an end.
