Zozibini Tunzi is stepping into a new role on South African television after being unveiled as the latest presenter of Top Billing.
The announcement signals a fresh chapter for the iconic lifestyle programme, with producers promising a renewed energy as the show prepares for its return to screens.
Tunzi, who rose to global fame after winning Miss Universe in 2019, now adds TV presenter to her growing list of achievements.
In a statement introducing her to viewers, the show described her as bringing “grace, intelligence and unmistakable presence” to the Top Billing family; qualities that helped her stand out on international stages and now position her as a compelling face for the revamped series.
Her debut is scheduled for Thursday, 30 April at 7pm on S3, with repeat broadcasts set for Sundays at 1pm on the same channel and a rebroadcast on Tuesdays at 9:30pm on SABC1 and SABC+.
The relaunch is being framed as more than just a return, with the production teasing “fresh stories, inspiring moments, and a whole new energy” for loyal viewers and new audiences alike.
With Tunzi leading the charge, Top Billing appears to be ushering in a new era, and if the early announcement is anything to go by, there may be even more surprises still to come.
