Gospel singer Hlengiwe Mhlaba was involved in a car accident on Saturday afternoon.
The singer was travelling to Mpumalanga where she was booked to perform when the accident occurred in Melmoth, northern Zululand.
Mhlaba sustained serious internal injuries and was admitted at a hospital in Empangeni, Kwa-Zulu-Natal, where she is under doctors supervision.
According to SowetanLIVE, her spokesperson, Nkululeko Khanye said:
“On Saturday it was very wet when the incident happened. Hlengiwe saw a car that was driving straight towards her and tried to avoid it but lost control and the car rolled.”
“We ask the nation to continue to pray for her speedy recovery as well ,” Khanye added.
