Man accused of killing a teenage girl from Philippe has had his case postponed to next month.
The accused, Leonard Mzingeli appeared briefly at the Wynberg Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
He is accused of the murder of the 17-year-old teenager from Phillipi, Amahle Quku.
Quku’s body was found dumped in the Siyahlala informal settlement in Browns Farm days after she was last seen by her family in June.
Mzingeli had initially abandoned his bail application and the National Prosecuting Authority said the accused is yet to indicate interest in bringing another application for bail.
He appeared briefly in the Wynberg Magistrates Court on Tueday and his case was postponed to 17 November to allow for further investigation.
