Zakes Bantwini has taken to his social media to reveal he lost his mother to cancer.
The star made this known after he asked his fans to share what is going on in their life this morning and many poured on their mind.
Some spoke on the issue of government and Covid-19 while others shared the pain they are going through within their family.
A tweep said her 11 year-old niece was diagnosed with bone cancer beginning of June and passed away on Thursday last week.
In her words, it is really hitting her up this morning as she was too young to die.
“My 11 years old niece was diagnosed with bone cancer beginning of June and passed away Thursday last week and it’s only hitting me this morning that she’s gone forever at such a young age, I cried my heart out in a taxi this morning”
Responding to this, Zakes stated that he can feel what the tweep is going through as he also lost his mother to cancer.
He said: “Oh no man at such a young age, I lost my mother through cancer I know the feeling.”
