Somizi Mhlongo’s exit from Idols SA show has made them lose a huge number of viewers.
Channel24 said the show has lost 324,847 viewers, meanwhile it was on 1 million viewership in July.
Somizi was replaced by guest judges on the show and it left lots of South Africans unhappy, as they claim the radio presenter was one of the major spice to the show.
“Idols SA fans should brace themselves for an exciting line-up of celebrities, who are set to add some pizzazz when they join Unathi Nkayi and Randall Abrahams as guest judges every week,” they revealed.
Before his exit from the show, Somizi clearly said he was taking a break till he irons out allegations against him from his estranged husband, Mohale Mhlongo.
Just when fans waited patiently for his return, the organizers of the show kicked Som out as a judge.
