DJ Fresh hast taken to his social media to recount how his family lawyer discouraged him from becoming a DJ.
The star stated that in the early 90s, the lawyer said to him that he will amount to nothing if he quits law for Radio and Dj-ing.
The DJ said that in the mid 90s, he sent out 50 radio demos, over 5 years, and got not even one call to say “there might be something there”.
DJ Fresh captioned: “In the late 80s they said it was a hobby; a phase; “it shall pass”. In the early 90s My Family Law lecturer said I would amount to nothing if I quit law for Radio and Dj-ing. In the Mid 90s I sent out easily 50 radio demos, over 5 years, and got not even one call to say “there might be something there”.
He went on saying that in the he has not been on the radio in 2021 but he is about to go into his busiest year ever.
“2021, ain’t been on radio all year, and about to go into my busiest EVER #HeritageDay weekend!”
