Mzansi go frenzy as DJ Sbu urges people to hug trees and walk barefooted (Video)

DJ Sbu trends for over 24 hours as a video clip of him advising people goes viral on social media.

In the video, the DJ urged people to connect to nature by walking on the soil bear-footed or hugging a tree.

Mixed reviews on what the businessman said flooded Twitter; while some claimed his advice is sane, others questioned his sanity and even shared funny memes.

“.. You’re so blessed that you’re melanin; connect to this, connect to the plant, connect to the earth. From time to time when you’re chanced, just walk barefooted, either on green grass or on a floor; hug a tree, literally hug a tree. Remember that we’re spiritual beings…” he said on the viral video.

He goes on to give people a homework on the video – The first is to hug a tree once a day; secondly, walk barefooted.
