Orlando Pirates Striker, Thamsanqa Gabuza Arrested for Beating Girlfriend

Orlando Pirates forward Thamsanqa Gabuza has been arrested for allegedly beating up his girlfriend last Monday.

The girlfriend Boitshoko Tala was reportedly beaten at the footballer’s Sandton home after losing his temper after his team lost the Nedbank Cup final 4-1 to SuperSport United on the Saturday.

Thamsanqa Gabuza was locked up at Sandton Police Station but has been released on bail. She accused him accused him of stealing her belongings: seven handbags, two iPhones and an iPad, totalling R40 000.

Orlando Pirates refused to comment on the matter.
