Rap mogul Cassper Nyovest has declared that he will be snubbing the South African Music Awards for the third year on a row.
The famous rapper has been at loggerheads with SAMA since 2015 after the awards failed to recognize his superhit single Doc Shebeleza.
Cassper on Twitter says after a long deliberation at his office he has decided not to participate in 2018’s edition.
“I didn’t submit Thuto (his latest album) for the Samas. It’s been a long debate at the office and as much as I love making the fans happy, I’m just over the Samas. I wish I could just perform and not take part in the award ceremony. I just love putting on world-class performances, you know.”
Nah, we good without the Sama Drama. https://t.co/Zq6quR8Iyt
