After DJ Speedsta cried out on social media, hitmaking duo Major League have refused they suffer the same faith from rappers who charge extremely high and sometimes make themselves inaccessible.
Major League particularly revealed two rappers who charged them a whooping sum for collaboration. They wrote on Twitter, “Malum charged us 90k for a verse and Shane 20k for a feature. The game is not about growing anymore. It’s about money. And by the way we do book them for our events an pay them,”
Junior De Rocka echoed the same tune. He questioned why rappers and DJs can’t decide to be on the same tune and be of help towards each other. “I for one do feel Speedsta’s pain. Artists have ridiculous requests to work with them. The over charge us. Forgetting that at the end of the day we play their songs in the clubs and on radio. What happened to helping one another??”
