Reason the rapper took to his social media writing a lengthy letter about his life with Jabba. The rapper shared how he was on a road trip to Jabba’s hometown and how the Icon treated him like his brother, sharing life tips and how to become better. It was indeed a trip to remember as he shared a snippet from the journey.
Reason said, “It was April 2015, Jabba had missed a gig in Maftown the month before. So, he asked me to come with him for his Askis Neh Maftown gig which was his apology to his home town, a free show. It was just me and him alone on the road all the way to Mafikeng… He preached for me, prayed for me, lectured me, advised me and even confided in me about some real life shit.”
The rapper said HHP took him to his parents house, where he grew up and his sister cooked them a meal. However, he had lots to share but he described Jabba as an open book.
“My point is… Jabba was an open book that was overdosed with love! He definitely had his fair share of controversies and mistakes…”
He revealed the last time they spoke and how he saw his pains manifesting in his eyes but didn’t know his death date was close.
The last time we saw was at Pros funeral and I could see the pain in your eyes manifesting. I did not however see death in your eyes… You gave the best of you at all times.
