AKA finally clears fans doubt on reasons why he wasn’t nominated for the SA Hip Hop Awards. While some fans took the position of the rapper and explained to other fans that it was a partial act, others said, AKA didn’t submit his music as he was not interested in the awards.
However, to see which part of the fans spoke AKA’s mind, these was what the rapper had to say about the awards snub.
While the rapper’s megacy went hard on SAHHA, AKA took to twitter and told his Megacy to take a chill pill and stop attacking the organization of the award. He added that he no longer submit his name for awards as he no longer believes in the concept of awards.
“Megacy. Please stop attacking the SA Hip Hop Awards. I didn’t submit. For my own personal reasons I no longer submit for award shows because I no longer believe in the concept of awards. The greatest reward or award is you rocking with me and my music. I wish them all the best.”
The Fela In Versace hitmaker added that he needs no award to tell him how great he is doing in the industry as he’s certain he has the biggest album and gig this year. However, he isn’t condemning those who put their names down for the nominations and he’s grateful for the award won in past years.
