Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters throws back to when she was crowned 2017 Miss Universe as Miss Universe 2018 unfolds.
The SA beauty queen who represented South Africa at the Miss Universe beauty pageant is grateful to South Africans for trusting her to represent the country.
Demi says the incident changed her life and it’s being one of her biggest motivation and inspiration.
“On this day a year ago my life changed forever. What a defining and life changing moment it was being crowned Miss Universe 2017. Forever grateful to everyone who believed in me and my dreams just as much as I did. South Africa, thank you for trusting me to represent you.”
Demi-Leigh also appreciated God for the grace and backed it up with a bible verse, Jeremiah 29: 11. She recently had her final photo shoot as Miss Universe, 2017.
