Photos: Trevor Noah’s statement dress at the 2019 Met Gala

The Daily Show host Trevor Noah was on a simple and low-key outfit at the annual Met Gala.

The South African comedian attracted controversial reviews after he wore a black suit with a white statement T-shirt with the words: “This is all a formality.”

While some fans reacted that he was proving to be the smartest of all, others just applauded his simplicity by looking less dramatic than the other celebs.
