Omuhle Gela speaks of the difficulty she experiences being a black woman in South Africa.
The actress seem to be irritated by questions asked by fans on the source of her income.
Omuhle set the record straight after tweeting about her financial life.
“Its so difficult to be a black woman in SA, I can’t even buy myself a bag without been asked ‘who got it for you’ , I can’t even take pics at the beach on a girls/family trip without the SAME Q, as if I don’t have a degree, and two PAYING jobs.”
Yazi ngathi some of y’all think we volunteer at work, we actually use our salaries…that’s how we make a living, and that’s how you actually buy stuff…with your salary ?

On Metro FM with Thomas and Pearl, Gela shared the reality of being a full-time actress. “So I really don’t feel like we get enough money and people always assume that when you’re on TV you’re balling and it’s so much pressure for us because we do need to look decent.”
